Carissa Lark Carter

I am on leave from my PhD in engineering-design at Stanford University. Why? Herman Miller offered me a fantastic job opportunity that I couldn't turn down. I enjoy filling my life with a set of diverse experiences. I started with them in July of 2009 and continue to learn, push, and design.

That said, everything on this site and any other associated with my name is my own work, and all of my opinions and perspectives are also my own, and not those of my employer.

I use design to explore new ideas, cause pause in the ordinary, and to challenge norms. I am also a geologist. I hold MS degrees in Product Design and Earth Science.

Blogs:
I have kept a number of blogs throughout the last 7 years. Currently, I'm writing about my experiences living abroad in my own country.
